I am currently a senior at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am studying Early Childhood Education and Special Education in hopes of becoming an Elementary school teacher. I will be certified to teach PreK-4th grade and Special education PreK-6th grade in Pennsylvania. I hope to return to my home state Virginia and begin my teaching career.

I enjoy learning about other cultures and languages. I took French all throughout high school and while living in Canada. I am also currently taking Korean this semester. I hope to expose my future students to other cultures and languages in the classroom. I think it is vital for students to have exposure to this at an early age.

I love traveling and hope to incorporate a travel theme in my classroom one day. I would enjoy integrating information about different cultures and countries into my daily lessons.

Creativity is extremely important to me! Like the title of my blog, I want my future students to be themselves, be creative, and to celebrate who they are! I want my classroom to be a place where creativity is encouraged and embraced.

Come join me on my journey to becoming a teacher! It will surely be an amazing one!
